This author has a way with words. Her characters are well developed and you can actually visualize them from descriptions she gives. I am truly sorry to see this series end. I loved this book!! This author is new to me and I'm so glad I found her. If you like ghosts Cozy Mysteries as I do, you will enjoy this book. I always like to read a series in order, but this can be read as a stand alone. I enjoyed it just as much as I would have had I read the first book. I am definitely going back to read the series from the beginning.
If you enjoy shows like, Ghost Adventures, it reminded me of the show. A paranormal group is asked to investigate an opera house to determine who, or what, is causing their disturbances. The book has mystery, and a romance, that had me tearing up at the end. An all around good book.

I didn’t know if I was going to like this one because it was about ghosts, which is something I don’t usually read about when it comes to mysteries. However, as I started reading the book, I became more and more interested. I really liked how you could get a feel for the characters, especially Eden and Syd, as well as Martin and Irma. It was also nice to get some background at the beginning and the end is the perfect mix of sad and sweet.
In essence, this book is about a team of investigators going to an opera house to search for a ghost, to see what his intentions are, and in order to help him get to where he needs to go. However, by the end of this one, there is something much more exciting going on. I would recommend this title to people that love cozy mysteries, but are looking for something a little bit different. This one has bonus points for strong female characters, men who know when to back off, and a heartwarming love story.
Loved the book and the ending, not what I expected but was very satisfied with the outcome. Waiting for more!

Predictable, perhaps, but written so beautifully. This entire series is just spooky enough, intriguing enough, but this "episode" is truly beautiful.
I have really enjoyed reading this series. Ghost stories are my favorite mysteries. The characters are interesting and easy to like, even Matt the sceptic. I wish the books were a little longer but the length really didn't take anything away from the story. I look forward to the next installment in this series. I also want to give kudos to the cover artist. The cover is usually what catches my attention first when I am looking for a new book to read. The ones in this series are simple but eye catching.
